PRESSURE REGULATOR MODULE, PRS-DIAL, FOR SOLENOID VALVES, RAIN BIRD.

The PRS-Dial is an excellent device for regulating outlet pressure at the valve regardless of inlet pressure.

It adjusts very quickly and very easily.

Regulator fits Rain Bird PGA, PEB, PESB, BPE and BPES series valves.

Regulates and maintains a constant outlet pressure between 1.04 and 6.90 bar in ±0.21 bar.

Detent adjustment knob allows fine adjustment in 0.02 bar increments.

The dial cartridge installs and adjusts quickly, easily and accurately.

Surge reduction enhancements reduce water hammer.

The ergonomic design with a protective cap minimizes the risk of vandalism.

Sealed dial cartridge eliminates misting and sticking.

Easy to install in the field. The PRS-Dial is threaded between the solenoid and the adapter.

Corrosion resistant fiberglass filled nylon for maximum strength.

Pressure: up to 6.90 bars*.

Regulation: 15 to 100 psi (1.04 to 6.90 bar).

Accuracy: ±3 psi (±0.21 bar).

* Although the PRS-Dial unit can withstand pressures up to 13.80 bar, precise pressure regulation can only be maintained up to 6.90 bar.

APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Proper operation requires an inlet pressure not less than 1.04 bar above the desired outlet pressure.

For areas with very high pressures or uneven terrain, install nozzles with internal pressure regulation stem (PRS) and/or with SAM check valves.

When inlet pressure is greater than 6.90 bar, a pressure regulating master valve or inline pressure regulator is required.

Rain Bird does not recommend the use of the Pressure Regulating Module for applications outside of the recommended flow rates.

To reduce the effects of water hammer, Rain Bird recommends flow rates in the supply line no greater than 2.29 m/s.

For flows less than 2.27 m3/hr, Rain Bird recommends applying two full turns of the control stem from the fully open position.
