MULTIPEX ACCESSORY FOR MULTILAYER

The Multipex accessory is a pressing or press-fitting accessory for multilayer pipes in plumbing and heating installations.

Multipex fittings are specially designed to be joined with PEX-Al-PEX and PERT-Al-PERT multilayer pipes through the press-fitting technique.

Multipex press-fitting accessories are available in a metallic version (brass) and in a plastic version (polyphenylsulfone).

In the brass version, the material used to manufacture the accessories is exclusively the highest quality European brass (CW617N), which complies with the health legislation of the most demanding countries of the European Union.

For its part, the material used in the manufacture of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) fittings has high performance for use in water facilities for human consumption:

Very low internal roughness. Less load losses compared to brass fittings.
High chemical resistance. This material is not affected by chlorine in the water. No galvanic corrosion and oxidation problems. Likewise, it is unalterable to construction materials.
Weight. PPSU fittings are much lighter than brass fittings.
High impact resistance. PPSU accessories are very strong and durable, withstanding strong impacts without fracturing.
High thermal resistance. The material withstands temperatures up to 134ºC.
