VENTURI MAZZEI IN P.P. 1.1/2", 1583, MALE THREAD, WITH BUILT-IN SUCTION CHECK VALVE.
FLOW 255-680 LITERS HOUR
Mazzei venturi injectors are differential pressure injectors with internal mixing vanes.
The unique, patented design and precision construction of Mazzei injectors maximize injector efficiency, suction capacity and mixing capabilities.
Our injectors also have no moving parts, which simplifies maintenance, and have much lower operating costs than less efficient systems.
HOW A MAZZEI VENTURI INJECTOR WORKS
When pressurized water enters the injector inlet, it contracts toward the injection chamber and becomes a high-velocity jet stream.
The increase in velocity through the injection chamber results in a decrease in absolute pressure, creating a vacuum that draws a liquid or gaseous additive through the suction port and mixes it completely into the water stream.
As the jet stream diffuses toward the injector exit, its velocity is reduced and it resumes its flow in a fully mixed state with slightly lower energy than when it entered the injector.
PERFORMANCE
Mazzei venturi injectors operate over a wide range of pressures and only require a minimum pressure difference between the inlet and outlet sides to initiate a vacuum in the suction port.
The internal mixing vanes of the injectors create thousands of micro bubbles, greatly increasing the surface area of the gas (air, oxygen, ozone, etc.) in contact with the liquid.
Several micro bubbles have a larger surface area than a large bubble of the same volume.
A greater surface area facilitates greater solubility.
