Valve designed to extract and admit air from pipes, large filters, tanks and, in general, from any element that must work free of the presence of air.

Vent valves are located at the outlet of pipes whose slope varies in relation to the hydraulic gradient, at points where the pipe rises above ground level, in large branches of uniform slope, at the entrance of measuring instruments, at the outlet of the reducing valves, in diameter reductions, pumps, filter systems and on each side of the crossings under roads.

For the correct operation of the valve, it must always be placed in a vertical position. It is recommended to install a manual isolation valve under the suction cup, in order to allow maintenance and repair operations without having to shut down the entire system.

Functions

Pulls air out of pipes as they fill. When the water reaches the valve, the float rises, closing the discharge hole.
It automatically maintains its purging function of any air that could reach the valve, since this causes the float to drop and the closure to open totally or partially, regardless of the water pressure.
It prevents crushing, because, with the slightest depression, the float falls and opens the closure, so that atmospheric air enters the pipe immediately.
Advantage

Its exclusive double independent closure system, one for the kinetic function and the other for the automatic one, and the low density of its float make it hermetic during the system's pressurization or emptying, however slow these operations may be.
A new interior design ensures that the float resists airflow at speeds that exceed the speed of sound at the outlet. Closing is only produced by the action of water.
It includes an internal grille in the elbow to prevent the entry of foreign objects inside the valve.
